21 - Title sequence evaluation

It wasn't difficult to note down all of the shots as we didn't plan each shot with pen and paper. We used a computer application called photobucket. This made it easier for us to list down all of the shots in the title sequence 'Se7en', allowing us to capture every shot in the sequence, giving us a detailed storyboard.

The use of a dark location helped us to set the tone and genre of the shots/title sequence. In our opinion the actual photography and filming was easy however when it came to the editing it was a lot harder to create the title credit through the editing due to a lack of knowledge on the software we used. We chose to mimic the original title sequence as much as possible as we felt this would enable us to use the best font, typeface and and size of titles.

I believe that our choice of font was successful as it fits are genre and suits the tone of the film. I believe that we were fairly successful with the placement of title credits as they fitted the action that we saw on the screen. Replacements of title credits were good as they were integrated with each picture, every shot used transitions to go into the next shot.

If I was to do this again I will increase my sense of urgency as it would allow us to have more time in editing and choosing the sound.
