Karen, you are working really well in class and it is evident that you have lots of potential in this subject. But, your blog doesn't currently reflect all the hard work that I see in class, which is a pity and means the mark awarded doesn't match the potential that you have. Please can you read through my feedback below and the complete the to do / targets for improvement below:
strengths:
- some evidence of some research
- reliance on text but nicely presented and easy to follow
weaknesses:
- very behind with lots of blogging tasks missing
- posts are very brief and lack detail or analysis
- reliance on text typed directly into the post - your work would benefit from images and embedded title sequences to show exactly what you have researched into
- time management - posting the blog is haphazard
to do / targets for improvement:
1. complete tasks missing with priority given to tasks 6,11,12,13, 15, 17
2. improve frequency of posting to the blog - aim for 3 or 4 times weekly and use lesson time and workshop to post tasks completed during lessons
3. provide more detail and analysis - posts need to be longer and have greater reflection on what you have learned as a result of each piece of research you have carried out
4. use more visual aids to illustrate or give evidence of the actual title sequences you have studied
5. begin to be more creative in using digital apps and ICT to present your work
