We have chosen to do a thriller film opening, thriller openings give out clues which get the audience drawn in quicker, in thrillers they also have long shots, short distance shots, wide shots, low shots, there are many options on how to make a thriller look entertaining to the audience. Also in thrillers there are good locations, lighting and editing you can use which makes the opening look presentable. Thrillers for example The Call (2013) give away clues for example the title we already know the film is going to be about phones and calling, the digital editing in the opening links with the theme of the film of how the location is main set in a calling unit for emergency's. In the beginning we start off with a flash back to a year ago of what happens to the girl that they try save and the main character gets a shock as she has to live thought it all over again with a different caller which brings it  back into the present day and what the "The Call" is really about.
